This sensational film created by Uncommon Studios and directed by Pulse's Oscar Hudson demonstrates that B & Q has the ambition to challenge IKEA's dominance in the home improvement realm. The different elements of this film combine beautifully to create a thrilling, intriguing and ultimately moving experience which significantly repositions B & Q as a retailer for aspirational householders.

Oscar Hudson had to achieve a delicate balancing act here. The technique he uses to represent upheaval is so impressive that it could easily overwhelm the human story it depicts... instead, the special effects service the story to such an extent that the audience shares the rush of pleasure from the protagonist's reveal at the end as much as her partner does, even though - unlike him - we already know her news.

David Bowie's 'Sound & Vision' is not an obvious soundtrack choice, and the original version would probably not have had the right vibe... but this remixed version which strips it down to its acoustic core adds something magical, and beautifully enhances the film's emotional impact.
